The search is on to find the "Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge." The program is open to all Baton Rouge organizations that meet the eligibility requirements. To be eligible for consideration, companies must meet the following criteria:
Be a publicly or privately held business or government entity/municipality (1)
Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business
Have a facility in Baton Rouge
Have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees (2) working in Baton Rouge (3)
Must be in business a minimum of one year
(1) Major departments of government entities and municipalities such as Departments of Transportation, Parks & Recreation, or Police may enter separately. For additional eligibility information or clarification, please contact Jennifer Aquiler at Best Companies Group at
(2) To ensure credibility, organizations with 15-24 employees working in Baton Rouge must have an 80% or better response rate on the employee survey. Temporary, per diem, PRN, seasonal, 1099 employees, independent contractors, non-employee real estate agents, consultants, interns and volunteers are not counted in the number of Baton Rouge employees or included in the survey process. For staffing companies, employees that are placed with other organizations are not eligible.
(3) The region of Baton Rouge is defined by the following 9 parishes: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, Tangipahoa, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana.
The "Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge" results and rankings will be simultaneously published by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and posted on this website.
